My Blog

I have been reading books avidly for a long time. When I got to college and began to follow book blogs I knew I wanted to start my own eventually, but never knew where to begin. Finally in March of 2013 I decided to jump in! I'm still working on my own style of blogging and writing reviews, but I hope you will join me on my reading adventures.

My name is Lisa Jean and I'm a 21-year-old student. I'm studying human development and want to get a job working with autistic children once I graduate. I have three sisters and one brother in my family and I adore them all. When I'm not working on schoolwork I tend to be reading, cooking, or playing video games. I also enjoy going for walks and listening to music. I love animals, especially dogs!

I pretty much exclusively read young adult books (with some exceptions such as middle grade or adult) and enjoy fantasy, romance, and adventure. I also enjoy reading (and occasionally writing) poetry.


I also enjoy traveling and trying new things. Life is meant to be an adventure! Which is a reason I love to read, it isa chance to live through an adventure, a romance, or visit another world.
